Virtual Exquisite Corpses

While working with a fellow art education student, we created this lesson plan on exquisite corpses.  We taught the lesson remotely to a local 6th-grade classroom through written and video instructions.

Since the pandemic had just begun at the time we were putting this lesson together, we wanted to focus on themes of presence and collaboration. 

 

Relying on peers in order to create the final product helped students learn about the importance of the process. 

 

They also learned about the unique possibilities that can be achieved through collaborative practice.
